Press Highlights

Sam Danzig, the student artist behind the Rotary Connection bus design, approached the project with one goal in mind: making people feel welcome.
“The homeless community of Fort Lauderdale is a marginalized group of people that have faced fear and intimidation. What we need to do is be as welcoming as possible,” Sam shared.
His winning design avoided colors associated with enforcement and instead emphasized warmth, visibility, and trust—turning the bus into something people feel comfortable approaching.
